This book came with high recommendations from my dear friend Elizabeth, of Stitch n’ Dish. It was an intriguing mystery, but a little slow for my (seven deadly sins-loving) tastes. I’d recommend it highly if The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo was a little intense for you.
It tells the tale of a murder in a rural town that begins with a confession by someone so unlikely to have committed the crime that it warrants an invasive investigation. There’s a little bit of love thrown in for good measure, but most of the book is dedicated to details.
Overall a gentle read if you’re looking for a mystery that’s a lot less gruesome and intense than some other tales on the market.
