This book was a wonderful overview of the basics of natural birth, using the Bradley Method. It was definitely outdated, but worth a read for anyone considering natural birth. I loved that in addition to focusing on natural childbirth, it gave practical tips for preparing for labor—common sense things like eating enough protein (and a checklist of what I should be eating every day), and various exercises that prepare the body for labor.
Some of the best books are the outdated ones…like all the old cookbooks that use real ingredients vs. “1 can of cream of mushroom soup.” If you would like my favorite baby/parenting related book list, let me know! 🙂
