This book captured my attention from the beginning, and was a solid read throughout. Telling the story of three women who are unlikely allies in the 60’s South, the book tells the tale from three vastly different perspectives. This book chronicles the journey of a young white woman and two black maids as they come together and document treatment of black maids in Jackson in the ’60’s.
Definitely worth a read if you haven’t already done so.
